The craft
One line.
No eraser.

A tattoo machine hits the skin about a hundred times a second. There is no undo, no layer two, no "close enough". That's why the hand holding it matters more than anything else in this building.

The shop
Brick, leather and red neon.

An old print shop on East Sixth we rebuilt ourselves: four chairs, one wall of flash, coffee that's actually good and a couch for the friend who "just came to watch".
