The Hemingway
A garden-facing king with a writing desk by the shutters and six-toed-cat energy. Afternoon sun stripes the heart-pine floor at exactly cocktail o'clock.
Nine rooms, one heated pool under the palms, and breakfast that refuses to be rushed. This is the golden hour, stretched into a whole stay.
Every room at CAYO was put together like a good postcard: one view worth writing home about, linen you sink into, and light that does most of the decorating. Keep scrolling — they stack up like the ones on your fridge.

Step off your private porch and you're three barefoot strides from the pool. First in the water every morning, first string-light glow every night.

Our corner room points its two windows straight at the evening show. Named for a treasure ship — because that view, every single night, is the gold.
The whole top floor: canopy bed, sitting room, and a wraparound balcony over the courtyard. Honeymooners tend to extend. We keep the calendar flexible on purpose.
A saltwater pool the temperature of a warm bath, coral-stone decks, and palms that were here long before we were. Towels at the ladder, cold hibiscus tea at four, string lights at dusk. Nobody has ever asked us for the Wi-Fi password from this deck.
Every morning the verandah table fills up slowly: café con leche poured at your seat, Cuban bread still warm, mango and papaya cut minutes before, and — because you are in Key West — key lime pie is a perfectly acceptable breakfast.
Your car stays in our free lot the whole stay — in Key West, that alone is worth the room rate. Loaner bikes and beach chairs at the front porch.
“We booked two nights for our anniversary and stayed five. The pool at golden hour is the screensaver my brain uses now.”
“Worked remotely from the verandah for a week. Best office of my career, and the café con leche beat every coffee shop on Duval.”
“Booked direct after finding them on Instagram — better rate than the travel sites and they upgraded us on arrival. Real hosts, not a front desk.”
The locals' secret season: warm water, quiet streets, mango everywhere. Third night 25% off and late checkout on us.
Champagne on ice at check-in, a private sunset sail for two, and rose-petal turndown. Anniversaries are our home game.
Seven nights, fiber Wi-Fi on the verandah, late checkout and laundry included. Your standup has never had this backdrop.
Booking sites charge us up to 25% — book direct and that margin becomes your better rate, a room upgrade when we can, and hosts who know your name before you arrive. If you ever find a lower rate for the same room, we match it and take another 5% off.
